Poetry

Ring Lardner, known as one of the most prolific humorists of the early 20th century, wrote verse alongside his short fiction. This collection draws together his poetic work, including sentimental pieces about his children compiled in Bib Ballads and the nearly 200 poems of Regular Fellows I Have Met. His voice carries his journalism background through satirical abbreviations and sports references, with a cheerful, whimsical rhythm throughout.
